** IMPORTANT ** PKard® Mail requires that your Microsoft Exchange email server have the Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) protocol enabled. Please check with your organizations IT department prior to purchase. **

PKard Mail supports Exchange email accounts with strong two-factor authentication using Exchange ActiveSync. Signing into your account can be with a username and password (simple setup), or a smart card (smart card setup).

S/MIME signing, encryption and decryption functionality is supported with a CAC or PIV card (not available when using username and password). PKard Mail secures communications within the app, segregating official and private email. All data handled by PKard Mail is encrypted.

Thursby technical and commercial support is by real people, over the phone and by email from Arlington, Texas. Please contact us via [email protected], [email protected] or +1 (817) 478-5070.

Thursby is the market leader in secure Apple Department of Defense (DoD), government and highly regulated enterprise integration, delivering the security features absent in native Apple and generic enterprise tools. Thursby is US owned, operated and General Services Administration (GSA) listed, delivering innovative Apple products and services for over a quarter century.

PKard Mail supports industry and U.S. Government standards including HSPD-12, OMB-11-11, FIPS 140-2 and FIPS 201. Most popular smart card types are supported including CAC, Dual Persona CAC, PIV, PIV-I and CIV.

** NOTES **
• Perceived performance depends on WiFi or cell bandwidth, Internet “weather” and back-end Exchange infrastructure
• Microsoft OWA (Outlook Web Access) DOES NOT support S/MIME card signing and encryption on non-Windows platforms even inside the PKard Reader secure browser app
• Please note that Thursby apps may not function correctly and are not supported on “jail broken” devices for security reasons
• PKard Mail is an integral part of the PKard Toolkit secure app development and policy management ecosystem managed via the PKard Reader secure browser
• The iTunes app is an individual/consumer distribution. Custom builds are available for organizations, either standalone, or as part of third party mobile management solutions.
